LET'S TAKE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

We are ready to take our Neighborhood Plan to the next level! But first we want to confirm our Top 6 Priorities to reflect what is most important to us today. These priorities were chosen by residents via a survey collected in 2020. We would like to know if anything has changed since the pandemic.

Flower Planting Program

Thanks to Kalamazoo's Foundation for Excellence, the Stuart Neighborhood is receiving funding in 2022 to purchase flowers to make our neighborhood even more beautiful.

  • Sign up will begin on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Stuart Neighborhood Kick-Off Event and online

  • Free perennial and annual flowers will be distributed to neighbors on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Stuart Historic Neighborhood Headquarters from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.

  • "Before" and "After" photos need to be taken and will be shared with the City of Kalamazoo

  • 13 - 50 households will be served through this program
